Poker MaximusOnline poker room Carbon Poker is gearing up for a major online tournament series this March titled Poker Maximus. Satellites are already running and with seventy events, players will be able to earn seats to all of the events by competing in the daily satellites at Carbon Poker.


The events of the Poker Maximus tournament series will have buy-ins ranging from $1.10 to $215; however one event will have a buy-in of $530. Players who win a Poker Maximus event will win an accolade as well as a coupon to compete in the Champion of Champions tournament.

The satellites for the Poker Maximus events will run each day and some will offer several options each day. The buy-ins for the satellites will range from $0.55 to $73.30. Players will find the satellites are very affordable especially compared to the buy-ins for the events in the series.


Carbon Poker will also be offering other bonuses and awards for players to take advantage of. The Poker Maximus Leaderboard Freeroll is one option and it will be available to those who have earned a spot on the leaderboard after the 70th event has taken place. The top twenty players of this event will win a piece of the $15,000 prize pool. Players will earn a chip stack based on their position on the leaderboard.

The Champion of Champions Freeroll is another option where players can earn even more rewards. The winner of each Poker Maximus event will be given exclusive access to this special freeroll. This event will have $10,000 up for grabs in the form of tournament entries and the first place winner will earn a special accolade.

The prizepool for the Poker Maximus will exceed over $1.5 million once the first events start on March 4th, 2012, making it one of the biggest tournament series purses on ANY medium-sized network in the world.  Since the Maximus will be run on all skins on the Merge Network, the expected turnout will undoubtedly be large.
